Caprese salad is a classic Italian dish that showcases the flavors of ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Super Sweet 100 Tomatoes
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • 8 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil (Extra Virgin)
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic glaze
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Slice larger tomatoes in half, 1/4-inch thick slices.
  • Use mozzarella balls or slice fresh mozzarella into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  • Arrange the tomato and mozzarella on a serving platter.
  • Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices.
  • Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the salad.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

If you can’t find Super Sweet 100 tomatoes then Roma work well too.
