Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette sliced into ½-inch thick rounds
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces brie cheese
  • ½ cup fig jam or fig spread
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • ¼ cup balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil or arugula for garnish optional
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

Toast the Crostini:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Arrange the baguette slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  • Lightly brush both sides of each slice with olive oil.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the slices are golden brown and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Assemble the Toppings:

  • Place a slice of brie cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.
  • Spoon a small amount of fig jam over the brie cheese.
  • Gently fold a slice of prosciutto and place it on top of the jam.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Arrange the prepared crostini on a serving platter.
  • Drizzle them generously with balsamic glaze.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper and fresh basil leaves or arugula, if desired.
