- 1 Small Mixing Bowl
- 1 Mixer
- 1 Loaf Pan
Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter (Softened)
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 15-oz Can Pumpkin Puree
- 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
Optional
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and/or chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven (350˚F).
- In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the butter, sugar, eggs, and pumkin.
- Add the flour mixture slowly into the pumpkin mixture. Mix well.
- Add chocolate chips and/or walnuts
- Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
- Place loaf pans in the middle of the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
