Pumpkin Bread

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Small Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Loaf Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter (Softened)
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 15-oz Can Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

Optional

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and/or chopped walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven (350˚F).
  • In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the butter, sugar, eggs, and pumkin.
  • Add the flour mixture slowly into the pumpkin mixture. Mix well.
  • Add chocolate chips and/or walnuts
  • Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
  • Place loaf pans in the middle of the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
